Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning is finally here! Now we just have to bug our parents to let us open up our presents...but unfortunatley they want to relax and drink coffee and eggnog until 3pm ET. Just a few hours to go...but things are already happening. While Santa was flying from NFL town to NFL town, the Cowboys, according to Foxsports.com, were busy trading LB Akin Ayodele and TE Anthony Fasano to Miami for a fourth round pick, which signals to us that there's some under-the-table dealing happening between Bill Parcells and his former team. That's quite a steal on the Dolphins part if you ask us. Regardless, more deals could occure before the draft starts, so stay alert!

While Mendenhall would definitely be a crowd pleaser at that pick, who is going to block? We're surprised Mendenhall fell as far as he did, but the Bears did get a quality player and fill a big need with Chris Williams at tackle. We'll have to see if Forte makes Bears fans forget about the Mendenhall pass.

I'm mainly a Steeler fan, growing up in the Steel Curtain days of the 70's and pretending to be Lynn Swann and Franco Harris. I just vote for the Bears because they're the home team and my family is all Bears fans. I think the Steelers got a steal yesterday with Mendenhall and I think that he'll be a better pro than any of the other RB's taken in front of him.

Agreed...we had him rated higher than McFadden in the Guide.
